The Hozho Voices of Healing Center is a 501(c)(3) organization based in Borrego Pass, NM. Our mission is to support sustainable living across the Dine community, which spans over 1,722 acres. We work tirelessly towards fulfilling our mission and have successfully impacted the lives of many individuals and families in the community.

We believe in community engagement and encourage everyone to be a part of our journey towards a sustainable future. Experience: 30+ years in the mental health field on the Navajo Nation

Purpose: She seeks to use Dine knowledge, practices, and philosophy to heal and sustain future generations

Education: Traditional Dine Practice

Experience: 10+ years at Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Program

Purpose: To empower youth to be agents of change with spiritual resilience

Purpose: My passion and desire is to help educate and bring awareness of gut health and wellness to our
Indigenous/Native communities.

Profession: Instructor of Trucking at Utah State University - Blanding

Education: Utah State University

Experience: a liaison for family sheep camps and Navajo Nation Entities

Purpose: Because tribes are sovereign nations and need to be treated as such.

Alex Piechowski-Begay

Profession: Artist - ReZistance Art

Experience: Community Advocate (Earth Guardian), co-founder (Sovereign Sounds Project), committee member (Stop the Money Pipeline Coalition), Production Manager (Dancing Earth), and onsite supporter at Standing Rock.
